How does the League work?
The League is divided into divisions. Each division consists of up to 16 teams of 5-8 players, and each team has to have some beginners. Every team has a home location, where they play about half of their matches. The other half are played at the home location of their opponents.
Each Division plays three 10-18 week sessions (seasons) a year. At the end of each session the top teams, plus a "wild card" team, play in the playoffs. The winners of the playoffs from all divisions then get to play in a tournament for cash and entry into the yearly world qualifier event. Winners of the world qualifier get to represent the South Coast in APA's World Pool Championships!
